Dear SIAARTI members,

We sincerely hope this email finds you well. As esteemed members of the SIAARTI community, we greatly appreciate your expertise in the field of anesthesia and intensive care unit (ICU). We are reaching out to extend an invitation for you to participate in a survey focused on the topic of "Reversal of Anticoagulation."

The ESICM Transfusion Guideline Taskforce is currently in the process of developing the first international guideline for anticoagulation reversal in the ICU setting. In succession of the TRACE and TRACE-2 surveys, in which we studied transfusion practices in the (non-)bleeding ICU patient, our current focus is to examine the practices regarding anticoagulation reversal in the (bleeding) ICU population using an international survey (ROTATION). Given the absence of an international guideline on this topic, we hypothesize a great heterogeneity in the use of anticoagulation reversal therapies.

The data collected through this study will serve as a baseline measurement prior to the implementation of the new anticoagulation reversal guideline. It will also enable future comparisons to determine whether the guideline has influenced a change in practice. The target audience for this survey includes intensivists, trainee intensivists, and non-intensivist specialists involved in intensive care medicine.

Completing the survey is anonymous and will require approximately 20 minutes. Rest assured that all your responses will be treated with utmost confidentiality.
